New to sailing?  Want to try it first to see if you'll like it?  Register for one of our Opti Camps and see if it's for you!  This camp is geared toward new sailors between the ages of 7 and 12, but all abilities can be accommodated.   Sailors who want to continue their sailing experience after a camp week can still join the remainder of the Full Summer class at a discount!

In 2026 there are two camp options:  See 4th of July Camp Sail-Away and Family&Friends Camps for details.

Not available for a full summer of sailing but still want to try it out?  Our Camp Sail-Away might be the place for you!  New and experienced sailors between the ages of 7 to 16 are all welcome.  Camp classes will be customized to reflect the abilities of campers.

This 4-day summer camp will run 6/29, 6/30, 7/1, 7/2  from 9 am-2 pm.

Opti Camp and X Boat Camp both include use of a rental boat.  Not sure whether your camper would be better in an Opti or an X?  Email us at northlakesailing@gmail.com and we'll help you decide. 

Price:
- Opti Camp with boat rental $375
- X Camp with boat rental $420

Note: X Boat campers will be paired with other sailors as needed.

Want to create a fun and memorable summer experience for your kids/teens with their cousins and/or neighborhood friends, but the set camp/class dates don’t work for you?

We can create a camp just for them! Minimum of 4 sailors and we can tailor a camp to suit their interests and schedule.
