This full summer option is geared toward more experienced sailors but new sailors are welcome and the class will be divided by experience level.

New to sailing?  Not sure if you'll like it?  Register for one of our Opti Camps and see if it's for you!  These camps are geared toward new sailors between the ages of 7 and 12, but all abilities can be accommodated.  Sailors who want to continue their sailing experience after a camp week can still join the remainder of the Full Summer class with a discount!

1 Week June Camp:
Dates: 6/24-6/27
Time: 9 am - noon, Monday-Thursday

1 Week Aug Camp:
Dates: 8/5-8/8
Time: 9 am - noon, Monday-Thursday
Price: $185

Note: All increase by 10% on May 1

These sailors will have completed 1st Grade or graduated from the Opti Kinderpram Class. Students will go on various excursions around the lake as they increase their comfort level and mobility sailing their own optimist sailboat. This class will teach sailing terminology as well as the very basics of sailing including skills like rigging and de-rigging of the boat and reading wind direction.
